Gladys M. LaPaugh Costa, 83, of Northford passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday June 1, 2016 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond V. Costa. Gladys was born in East Haven on April 23, 1933; daughter of the late Victor and Winifred Tipping LaPaugh. She was an Administrative Assistant at Jordan International for 25 years and enjoyed bowling, making ceramics, cooking and knitting. Mother of John (Jean) Costa and Richard (Marie) Costa, Sr. Grandmother of Raymond Costa, Michael Costa, Nick Blasco and the late Richard Costa, Jr. and Richard Blasco. Sister of Robert LaPaugh.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, Tuesday morning at 11:00 for a Mass of Christian burial and to attend committal services immediately following in All Saints Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
