Anna E. Adams Rafter, 91, of 339 Eastern Street, New Haven passed away peacefully on Friday, July 4, 2014 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Charles W. Rafter. Anna was born in Greenfield, MA on January 13, 1923; daughter of the late Anthony and Eva Roulaskivch Adams; had worked for the former US Repeating Arms until her retirement; was a member of the Lithuanian Women’s Club; was an avid bingo player at Bella Vista and was a UCONN Huskies fan. Mother of Charles (Teri) Rafter, Linda (Donald) MacNeil and Edward Rafter. Also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Tuesday morning at 9:30. Family and friends may call from 8:30 to 9:30 am. A Mass of Christian burial will follow in St. Barnabas Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

My sincere sympathy on the passing of your Mom. She was a wonderful aunt to me and my daughters. She will truly be missed. But be assured that she is not in any discomfort now and is reunited with her brothers and sisters. There all probably fighting by now.
