Douglas K. Kelsey, 90, beloved husband of Roselyn B. Kelsey died May 25, 2010 in Port Charlotte, FL. Born in Mount Vernon, NY on February 23, 1920 to Mabel (Morley) and Harold J. Kelsey. He lived most of his life in CT and retired to Port Charlotte, FL in his later years. He was an Engineer for the NY-NH & Hartford Railroad for 39 years. He was also a member of Lodge #77 of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Kelsey flew B-25 Bombers during World War II and was a life member of the Delta Eagles an organization of pilots of Graduating Class 43-D and the Kelsey Kindred and a descendant of Mayflower member John Alden. Kelsey enjoyed being an active life member in the BPOE#2153-FL. Mr. Kelsey was survived by his loving wife, Roselyn, many nieces and nephews, especially Roselyn Katzung (whom he made his home with), Roger Kane (Margaret) of Cornwall, CT, Arthur Kane (Patricia) of TN, CDR Beverly Kelsey (USN-ret), Lt. Col. Fred Hoffman (Rita) USAF-ret. And Col. Robert Kelsey Jr. He was predeceased by brothers Morley J., Robert B. and a sister Jean S. Hoffman and her husband Harry of CT.

There will be no calling hours and joint burial will be in North Haven Center Cemetery on November 7, 2015.
