Robert G. Pethick, Sr., 55, of North Haven passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of 32 years to Louise Acampora Pethick. Robert was born in New Haven on April 16, 1960; son of Catherine Amato Pethick and the late Richard Pethick; obtained an Associate degree from SCSU and had worked as a Network Engineer for Presidio. Robert loved North Haven Football and filmed the games for the team for many years. He had coached Twilight League baseball, was a NY Giants fan, loved corvettes and enjoyed being with “the click” at Powerhouse Gym. Loving father of Brittney L. Pethick and Robert G. Pethick, Jr. Brother of Walter (Maria) Pethick, Gabriel Pethick, John (Michelle) Pethick, Dr. Mark (Alyssa) Pethick and the late Richard Pethick.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday morning at 8:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church at 9:00 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Sunday from 2 to 6 pm.

So very sorry to hear of Robbie's sudden passing. My family and I lived across the street from Robbie and his family on Cindy Lane in North Haven. Robbie and his brothers made our neighborhood very interesting and fun. There were many fond memories made growing up there. My heartfelt condolences go out to the Pethick family.

Louise and family, I'm very sorry for your loss. I remember Rob all the way back to elementary school – he was very nice, smart, and funny. I'm also writing to let you know that I posted a link to this page on Facebook, and many people expressed their sadness, shock, and condolences. I just wanted you to know that there were about 30 comments, mostly from our high school classmates.
I knew Robert from our many encounters at powerhouse gym. Though we use to see each other Monday-Friday everytime we saw each other it was so much love he will truly be missed. He along with many members at the powerhouse gym kept me humbled in so many ways, I would do a lift he would compliment me and take a picture to show his son the "superman" of the gym as rob would call me. My condolences go out to the Pethick family, Robert what a great man he will truly be missed.

Robby was a wonderful nephew and man. It was not uncommon for him to go out of his way to help someone. His generous spirit and kindness had no boundaries and touched everyone he came Into contact with, he never met a stranger. A void is in our hearts, we will miss him greatly.
