Veronica Haley Franco, 68, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford. She was the wife of fifty years to Ronald Franco. Veronica was born in Hartford on June 10, 1947; daughter of the late John and Pearl Brennan Haley; had worked for CT Cafeteria, Contract Carpet both of North Haven and later for Bon Appetite of Hamden. She was a member of the Bliss Street Girls and South Catholic High School Girls. Mother of Mark (Elizabeth) Franco and Michael Franco. Grandmother of Olivia, Matteo, Luke and Jonathan. Sister Don Hall and the late Patricia Haley Samson.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday evening at 8:00 with the Rev. Timothy Meehan officiating. Family and friends may call from 5:00 pm until time of service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
