Maria “Mae” Mignone Gaudio, 102, of Haddam, a former resident of Hamden for fifty years, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2015 at the Saybrook of Haddam. She was the wife of the late Joseph G. Gaudio. Mae was born in New Haven on April 24, 1913; daughter of the late Alphonse and Michalene Forgione Mignone. She had worked as a credit investigator for Sears-Roebuck. Mother of Salvatore (Margaret) Gaudio and Alphonse Gaudio. Also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter-in-law Elizabeth (Betty) Gaudio, four sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Tuesday morning, July 21st at 11:00. Family and friends may call from 10:00 am until time of service. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
