Alice Maturo Keeny, 88, of Hamden, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at her home. She was the wife of the late Sheldon J. Keeny. Alice was born in Hamden on April 6, 1926; daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Coppola Maturo, and was a 1944 Hamden High School graduate. Mother of Sheldon J. Keeny, Jr and his wife Nancy Cruthers. Predeceased by her sisters, Helen Scelzo, Clara Purcella and Eva Mattie.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Friday morning at 10:30. Family and friends may call from 9:00 to 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian burial will follow in St. Barnabas Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
