Emma Pizzarusso Lucibello, 93, of 165 Clintonville Road, North Haven, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Whitney Manor, Hamden with her family by her side.  She was the wife of the late Thomas Lucibello.  Emma was born New Haven on December 24, 1920; a daughter of the late Salvatore and Elizabeth Raggozino Pizzarusso; had worked in the bakery department of the former Grand Way and in the security department at Yale University.  She loved her family and enjoyed her friends at Steven’s Woods.  Mother of Thomas (Francine) Lucibello and Barry (Marguerite) Lucibello.  Sister of the late Fred (Josephine) Russo, Mildred Pizzarusso and Theresa Fucci. Grandmother of Barry Lucibello, Jr, Nicole Lucibello, Toni (Alphonse) Michaelangelo and  T.J. Lucibello.  Aunt of Cynthia Fucci. The family would like to thank the staff of the Whitney Manor and Hospice of Masonicare for the great and compassionate care shown to Emma.

Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Tuesday morning at 9:30.  Family and friends may call from 8:30 to 9:30.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church at 10:00.  Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
