David S. Zitomer, 48, of Meriden passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Midstate Medical Center. David was born in New Haven on October 12, 1966; son of Joan Salant Zitomer and the late Sherman Zitomer. He had worked as a project manager for The Hartford insurance company. Father of Grant and Dylan Zitomer. Brother of Shari (Bill) Romero and Alan (Andrea) Zitomer, and his significant other Migdalia Sabetta.
Family and friends may call at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Tuesday from 5 to 7pm. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grant & Dylan Zitomer 356 State Street, North Haven, CT 06473 to go toward their Scholarship Fund.
I am so sorry to hear of David's passing. I worked with him at The Hartford for quite a few years. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Grant and Dylan – I worked with your Dad for a few years and we always talked about his sons and my sons. Know that he loved you both with all is being. He always spoke of how proud he was of each of you. Know that he is looking down upon you always. My deepest sympathy to you both.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to Davids family and friends. I worked with Dave at The Hartford. He was a great guy, always very helpful and smiling. When I would visit him at his desk, I'd always see the pictures of his family and I could see how proud he was of his children. You will be missed Dave, may you rest in peace. Jeff
