“The Broken Chain”
We little knew that day,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death, we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And although we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
To all who loved dear sweet Cathy, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
My deepest condolences to Catherine’s family. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Cathy at Yale University. My heart goes out to all of you during this very difficult time.

So many warm and wonderful memories of my dear friend Cathy and the entire Villano/Burzynski family. Her beautiful smile, laughter, and her great spirit for life will stay with me forever. We had so many good times when we were younger living on Spring Street and then reunited again in our highschool years in West Haven. I am grateful for the sweetest memories and only wish that there was still time to make more. My heart and prayers go out to the beautiful family Cathy leaves behind. You were her inspiration and her greatest pride and joy! Know that she will never truly leave you and her spirit will always be your guiding light. May God bless you and may warm memories comfort you during this difficult time. With Sincere Sympathy, Diane Ritucci
