Rose passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on July 23, 2013. She was a lifelong resident of Connecticut, but in 2010 she moved with her family to Plymouth, Michigan. Rose was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Joseph, her mother Julia Di Verniero Gallo, her father Louis Gallo, brother(s) Raffaello, Ricky and Louis. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Vigilone and Rae Zuppardi both of West Haven, CT, her daughter Deborah, son Robert and daughter in law Linda. Rose loved all her grandchildren; Wesley, Julianna, Marriana, Ava, Rose, Olivia, Aria and Angelo. She also leaves her nephews, Glenn Mineo, James Viglione, Louis Gallo and niece Jamie Whitaker with several grand nieces.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Saturday morning at 9:30. Family and friends may call from 8:30 to 9:30 am. A mass of Christian burial will follow in St. Augustine Church, North Branford at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

I was sorry to read of your dear mother’s passing in this morning’s New Haven Register. I have emailed the information to Patty and Randy Brooks who are currently in Wisconsin, but who will be visiting Connecticut next week. I have not seen you in many years, but I still think of you fondly from my time working at the Legion office in Hamden.
