Salvatore H. Perrotti, 83, of Wallingford, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Hartford Hospital. He was the husband of the late Anita Grossi Perrotti. Sal was born in New Haven on March 16, 1930; son of the late Domenic and Pasqualina D’Addio Perrotti; he served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army during WW II; attended the CT School of Electronics; had worked for the former Winchester’s Repeating Arms and later for the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years until his retirement. Sal was a member of the Wallingford Rod & Gun Club and the Housatonic Fly Fishermans. Father of Michael S. (Debra) Perrotti of Milford and Lisa A. (Robert) Bachman of Wallingford. Grandfather of Mitchell and Marina Mongillo, Zachary and Alec Perrotti. Brother of Gilda (Peter) Colatosti of New Haven, Domenic Perrotti of Guilford and the late Virginia Abbatiello, Catherine Ferraiuolo, Pasquale & Joseph Perrotti and Ann Bogart.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Tuesday morning at 9:30. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church, North Haven at 10:00. Entombment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum. The visiting hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 pm. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Way, Memphis, TN 38105.
We both would like to offer our sincere sympathies to the family. Sal was a wonderful man. May he rest in peace.
Loss is something we can never get used to, but the love and support of your friends and family will always be there. I am so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories…may he live always in our hearts.
