Ruth Wetherbee Hansell, 86, of Pulaski Blvd., Bellingham, MA, formerly of 99 Pool Road, North Haven, CT, passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, Sept 9th. She was the wife of the late Arnold G. Hansell. Born in East Haven, CT on Jan. 2, 1927; daughter of the late Frank and Emily Miller Wetherbee; she had worked at AAA in the Accounting Dept., until her retirement in 2007, was a member of the North Haven Congregational Church for over 50 years and was a member of the North Haven Garden Club. Mother of Richard W. Hansell, of Albuquerque, NM, Thomas A. Hansell, of Northford, David W. Hansell, of No. Haven and Debra H. Riquier, of Bellingham, MA, with whom she lived. Mother-in-law of Robert Riquier and Linda Hansell . Grandmother of Irene, Marina and Kristin. Step-grandmother of Tiffiny (Rich) and Justin (Vicki). Great-grandmother of Cameron, Derek and Brandon. Sister of the late Janet Felsted, Ann Wetherbee, and Francis Bailey.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at North Haven Congregational Church, Saturday morning, September 21, 2013, at 9:30 with the Rev. Scott Morrow officiating. Interment of cremains will follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven.
