Scott Douglas Grant, 47, of Wallingford passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 at his home. Born in New Haven on August 22, 1966; son of Patricia Clinton Grant and the late Gerald Grant. He had graduated from Lyman Hall High School in 1986, and earned certifications in welding and machine tooling from Wilcox Regional Vocational Tech School. He enjoyed antiquing, going to tag sales and the Nest Egg Auction House with his brother and visiting his sister in Maine. He adored his friends whom he loved dearly. Brother of Darrell (Sharon) Grant and Jerriann Grant. Also survived by a niece and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Thursday morning at 10:00 with the Rev. Owen Sanderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Cemetery, North Haven. The visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm. To Darrell and family. So sorry for your loss. Scott will truly be missed. He was a kind hearted and funny guy. We wish you all the strength during this time of sorrow.
I am so sorry to hear about Scott’s passing. Its been years since I have seen him but he was always so nice and kind. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
