Mason Franklin McQueary, 96, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the Evergreen Woods, North Branford with his family by his side. He was the husband of Marjorie Graumlich McQueary. Mason was born in Plato, Kentucky onf March 13, 1918; son of the late William Humphrey McQueary and Sophrona Alma Burton McQueary. He served his country faithfully in the US Navy during World War II and had worked as a Supervisor for Cost Estimaters and Inventors for DeVilbiss Company. Mason was a member of the Toledo Gem & Mineral Club, the Lifelong Learning at Lourdes College and St. Paul’s Methodist Church, Toledo, OH. Father of Patricia Kenning and her husband Steve, Robert McQueary and his wife Patricia, Jody McQueary and the late James McQueary. Grandfather of Robert, Katherine and Kristine Kenning, Jennifer Robinett, Jason McQueary, Jamie Marlatt, Andrew and Ian McQueary. Great-Grandfather of Josephine Robinett, Jayna and Jennessee Marlatt and Joseph McQueary. Brother of Mary Elizabeth Blume, Wilma Jane Rothschild and the late William Burton McQueary, Sarah Catherine McQueary and Alma Lee Ellen Tolley. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to everyone at Evergreen Woods.
