Stephen Allen Quinn, 76, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Friday, March 27, 2015 at the St. Raphael campus of Yale-New Haven Hospital with his family by his side. He was the husband Marge R. Ramadei Quinn. Stephen was born in New Haven on March 23, 1939; son of the late Francis J. and Rose Jackem Quinn; served his country faithfully in the US Army during the Vietnam era; had worked for ABF Freight for many years retiring as a Supervisor and was a member of the Sons of Italy Lodge #37. Father of Stephen R. (Kristi) Quinn and Brian (Kimberly) Quinn. Grandfather of Brendan, Kaylee, Taylor and Nicholas. Brother of Paula Quinn and the late Ronald, James and Robert Quinn, and Rosalind Cervero. Son-in-law of Rose Ramadei.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Tuesday morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church at 11:00. Interment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 pm. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Yale-New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael’s Campus Fund, earmarked for the LungLife Program, 1450 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT 06511.
I did not know that Steve was a Vietnam veteran. I would have thanked him for his service to our country. He was a modest and quiet spoken man and I was proud to have know him. My sincere condolences to the whole family.

Marge and family. I'm feeling so so sorry about snooky – my heart and prayers are with you. I would have been there for you but, just learned of his passing. He will always be remember for his great "Hello" and his big friendly smile and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
