Josephine M. Iannotti Parillo, 94, of Branford, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Wife of the late John J. Parillo. Born in New Haven on May 31, 1919; daughter of the late Frank and Maria Simonelli Iannotti. She had worked as a secretary for Safety Electrical until her retirement. Josephine was devoted to her family and Catholic faith. She was an expert knitter of afghans and sweaters, a member of the Jolly Timers Seniors Club and a fan of the New York Yankees and UCONN Women’s basketball team. Mother of Marion Stanton, John Parillo (Diane) and David Parillo (Cecelia). Grandmother of Debra Falvey (Brian), Cheryl Barone (Michael), Darren Parillo (Karen), Brian Parillo and Lindsay Santiago (Edgar). Great grandmother of Michael Perez (Michelle), Meredith Falvey, Caroline Falvey and Kayla Parillo. Sister of Frances Pesticci, Rose DeMarco, Ann Bogart and the late Raye Bradley, Helen Brown and Charles Iannotti.

Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday morning at 10:30. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Sunday from 3 to 6. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
