Walter Yarosh Jr., 73, of Hamden passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at his home with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Carole Apuzzo Yarosh for 21 years. Walter was born in Derby on November 20, 1942; son of the late Walter and Vera Kolanowski Yarosh Sr.; had worked as a Taper for Allied Trades Union and was a devoted grandfather to his five grandchildren whom he loved unconditionally. Father of Carolyn Ayala and the late Gregory Yarosh. Grandfather of Cristina and Michael Ayala, Kirsti and Kristen Ryan, and Nicholas Attaliades-Ryan. Brother of Sharon (Charles) Carlson.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Friday morning at 11:30 with the Rev. Timothy Meehan officiating. The visiting hours will be Thursday (TODAY) from 5 to 8 pm. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
