Grace Santoro, 84, of North Haven, passed away Wednesday November 4, 2015 at her home. She is the beloved wife of Peter Santoro. Grace was born in West Haven on September 9, 1931; daughter of the late Lucy LaSalle Marinuzzi. She graduated from Commercial High class of 1949; worked as a secretary for Brescome Barton. Grace was known for her memory of acknowledging everyone’s birthday. Mother of Mark (Page) Santoro. Grandmother of Sammy and Max Santoro. Sister of Nathan (Dorothy) Marinuzzi and the late Carmel Lezzi, Antoinette, Betty and John Marinuzzi. Also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Galente, Dr. Reynolds and their staffs.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven, Monday morning at 9:00. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no visiting hours. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2080 Silas Deane Highway, 2nd Floor Rocky Hill, CT 06067 or the National Kidney Foundation, 1463 Highland Avenue, Cheshire, CT 06410.
