Laurence F. Tessier (Larry), 60, of Northford passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at his home. He was the husband to Kathleen Bator Tessier. Laurence was born in Hartford, CT on September 4, 1954; son of Vivian Perry Tessier and the late Laurence Tessier of Enfield, CT. He attended schools in Enfield, CT and later the University of New Mexico. In his most recent employment he worked as an Applications Engineer for Homa Pump Technology in Ansonia, CT.
He was proud to have served his country as a Marine.
Larry loved good food and wine, grilling outdoors and cooking for family and friends. He enjoyed traveling, history (military history in particular) and was an avid reader. In his early years he enjoyed playing baseball and followed the Boston Red Sox forever. He was also a fan of basketball (UCONN Women) and football (NE Patriots).
Larry could make everyone laugh. His sparkling wit and unique sense of humor will be missed by many: His wife of 33 years, Kathy, mother, Vivian, sister and brother-in-law, Mary and George Haesaert, brothers Steven Tessier and Gregory Tessier; along with all his nieces, nephew, extended family and colleagues at Homa.
A private celebration of Larry's life will be held on a date and time that will be determined by the family.
Larry loved dogs. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.

Kathy, so sorry for your loss. Just know that many thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
To Kathy and the entire Tessier family – we will fondly remember Larry for the happy times we had in our younger days. Gary especially will remember the fun he and Larry had building forts and playing ball in the back yard as schoolboys! He left us much too soon and will be missed.
Kathy, word cannot express How deeply sorry I am for your loss! I pray The Lord comfort you through this time of sorrow. I want you to know that we are praying the prayer of healing for you. Chris & Liz Williams

Kathy,my deepest sympathies to you and your family on the loss of Larry. Our prayers are with you.
My Darling Larry, today I have completed 24 hours without tears since your all too hasty departure from our physical world. This is no small feat since when I sit outside on the deck in the evenings, the catbird still calls your name. I have committed sacrilege and purchased a George Formen grill. Yours Forever And Always — Kathy

My condolences to all of the Tessier family. I remember Larry and all of his family as very special, warm and dear family. All my best to them as they deal with their loss.
