Pat, (also known as Nicky and Gigi to his family), 74, passed away January 13th after a brief struggle with cancer. He was born on July 8, 1940 in Woodbridge, CT son of the late Anthony and Rose Perrotti Mastromarino and grew up on his beloved family farm on Bradley Road. He worked at Bic Pen Corporation for over 25 years as a toolmaker. He enjoyed his retirement years at his home in Guilford, CT that he shared with his wife. His passions throughout life were golfing, puttering around his house, maintaining his large garden, reading about history, playing Black Jack and traveling throughout the world. He was a diehard Yankees and Giants fan. His two year old grandson was the apple of his eye. He is survived by his wife Diana Forcucci Mastromarino, his daughter Kristin Vander Wiede, her husband Chris, his grandson Andrew Vander Wiede, his sister Margaret Giannone and her husband Joseph, his sister Rosemary Zehntner and her husband Roger and his sister-in-law Sarah Mastromarino. Predeceased by his brother Angelo Mastromarino.
Relatives and friends are invited to go directly to St. Georges Church, 33 Whitfield St. Guilford Saturday morning at 10am for a Mass of Christian Burial and to attend committal services immediately following in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Friday from 4-8 pm in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Guilford Fund for Education, www.gffe.org
