Kathleen Barton Turnipseed, 82, of North Haven, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, Southington. She was the wife of Marvin R. Turnipseed. Born in Webster County, Mississippi on August 2, 1932; daughter of late Robert and Moree White Barton and Macie Barton. Kathleen worked as a secretary for various companies until her retirement. Mother of C. Dale (Marcos Delgado) Turnipseed and E. Brent (Susan) Turnipseed. Predeceased by a sister, Jewel Hester.
Funeral Services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Saturday (TODAY) evening at 5:15. Family and friends may call from 3:00 until time of service. Interment will be in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Carroll County, Mississippi, on Tuesday, October 14th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Christian Pre-School, 20 North Whittlesey St., Wallingford, CT 06492 or the Alzheimer’s Resource Center of CT, 1261 S. Main St., Plantsville, CT 06479.
