Normand G. Stuart, 78, of 265 Washington Avenue, West Haven passed away Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Masonicare, Wallingford. He was the husband of the late Grace Guarino Stuart. Born in Augusta, Maine on March 14, 1935; son of the late John E. and Susie E. Smith Stuart; he served his country faithfully in the US Army; had worked as a Shipping Clerk for Country Lumbar for 34 years and had started numerous AA meetings at St. Raphael’s Hospital. Father of Antoinette (George) Schlauder. Grandfather of Keith, Christopher, Eric and Justin Schlauder. Great-Grandfather of Justin and C.J.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Thursday morning at 11:30. Family and friends may call from 10:30 until time of service. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
