Kelly Ann Lumbra Burnham, 43, of Hamden, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 22, 2014 at her home. Kelly was born in New Haven on March 2, 1971; daughter of Carolyn T. Bassett McMillian, Lorren E. McMillian and the late Maynard Lumbra; she attended North Haven High School; had worked for the former Affordable Fence & Railing of Hamden; was a huge supporter of the friends of animals, the Susan B. Komen Foundation and the Disabled American Veterans. She was a volunteer at the St. Ann’s Soup Kitchen, Hamden; loved angels and butterflies, enjoyed gazing on face book. Granddaughter of Helen Bassett. Sister of Dale Lumbra, Christine Yasgar, Deanna Simjian, Jacqui Weiss, MJ Lumbra, Lorren McMillian, Jr., Brian McMillian, Pamela Cavallaro and Leonard Russo. Also survived by many aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends near and far and her cats Shelby, Crazy, Tobey and Spike. Predeceased by her maternal grandfather Wallace Bassett.
Funeral Services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Friday evening at 6:30. Family and friends may call from 3 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Autistic Society Fund c/o Good Charity, Inc., 20750 Civic Center Dr., Ste.180, Southfield MI 48076

Just wanted to take a moment and say to the family I am very sorry for your lost. We never got a chance to meet face to face but Kelly was a very sweet lady. She will be missed by a Nation of BabyGirls and one LadySFM.
