June N. Jermine D’Avino, 88, of Wallingford passed away peacefully on Thursday June 23, 2016 at the Mid-State Medical Center, Meriden with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred J. D’Avino, Sr. June was born in New Haven on September 12, 1927; daughter of the late Thomas and Angelina Celella Jermine; had worked for Green’s Cleaning Corporation for many years and then later for Walmart in Wallingford for 10 years. Mother of Alfred J. D’Avino, Jr. Sister of Alexandra “Sandy” Page and the late Oliver, Michael and Thomas Jermine, Jr., Mary Hilton, Virginia Connelly, Rita Melillo, Dorothy Stamp and Harriett Ward. Also survived by her brother-in-law Michael D’Avino(fiancé Carole Young).
A graveside funeral service will be conducted in the Center Cemetery, North Haven on Wednesday morning June 29th at 11:00. There will be no visiting hours.
