Howard James Sault, Jr., 82, of East Haven passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford. He was the husband of Mary Bridget Ryan Sault. Howard was born in New Haven on August 14, 1931; son of the late Howard J. Sault, Sr. and Evelyn Nanfelt Sault. He served his country faithfully in the US Army during Korean war; had worked for AGC of Meriden and later as a bus driver for the former Nutile Bus Company which later became Winkle Bus Company of North Haven. Father of Eileen Broadfield (Stephen), Donna Babetas (James), Howard J. Sault III (Karen) and William Sault (Lisa). Brother of Walter Sault (Ann). Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Private funeral services have been entrusted to the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 2075 Silas Deane Hwy, Ste. 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067 or the CT Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Rd, Branford, CT 06405.
I Love you Daddy! Your not suffering anymore ! I hope your having a good time in heaven! I keep remembering the good times! The boat in the back yard you got us. We traveled the world! How you dressed up as a clown for the boys hockey team. Taking us all ice skating at Sinoways at night, then home to hot chocolate! One of my favorite vacations fort wilderness at Disney when they first opened. There's so many other good memories , I hope that everyone remembers all the good ones! If you hit on the slot machine in heaven could you send some down to us! XOXO

I had the pleasure of meeting Howard at the SRC he was on my floor and became a part of my extended family, My son use to visit him and do magic tricks with him. He told me so many great stories of his wife and family and how he loved to travel and loved blueberries! My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and Howard you will be missed, rest on my friend and know I enjoyed our many conversations.

I just thought I would let you guys know I recently received an award for food service from working on SLA 4 the floor where Howard was from 11/17 to 7/28 and I dedicated it in memory of Howard. Howard,May you rest in peace and watch over your family and loved ones. I know how much you cared about them that's all you talked about….family and blueberries….lol Rest on my friend until we meet again (hugs)
