Robert (Bob) Corcoran McGuire, Sr., age 65, of North Haven, the loving husband of forty-two years to Ellen D’Agostino McGuire, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at his home. Robert was the son of Jacqueline Breen McGuire and the late Francis Joseph McGuire. Born in New Haven on October 7, 1950, he attended Richard C. Lee High School and was a graduate of Quinnipiac University where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree. He resided in North Haven for the past thirty-three years. Mr. McGuire was self-employed and was the owner and President of Fulcrum Executive Search, a construction industry placement agency. He was an avid fan of NASCAR, the New York Giants and anything Disney. His annual visits to Orlando’s Disney World with his family were among the happiest and most cherished moments in his life. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his beloved daughters Erin Coreen McGuire (David Marquis) and Kara Michele McGuire (Joseph Redente Jr.) and his mother-in-law Anne D’Agostino. He was predeceased by and is now reunited with the son he adored, Robert (Bobby) C. McGuire Jr. He was also predeceased by his brother, Kevin Sean McGuire. Bob will be sorely missed by all of those who loved him and by everyone whose lives he touched during his time on earth.

His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 10:00. Entombment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum. The visiting hours will be Sunday from 3 to 6 pm.
