Michelina “Mickey†Laudicina Bosco, 80, of 29 Turner Drive, North Haven passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at her home after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Carmelo “Carmen†Bosco. Born in New Haven on March 31, 1931; a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Francesca Bua Laudicina. Mickey enjoyed cooking, entertaining, her frequent trips to Florida but the most important love in her life was her dedication and unconditional love she gave to her children and especially to her grandchildren who were the lights of her life. Loving mother of Joseph G.Bosco, Kathleen (Greg) Macmillen and Lisa (James) Feather all of North Haven. Loving and devoted grandma of William Bosco, Chelsea & Kyle Ostrum, Nicholas Lazar, Jeanne and Jennifer Bosco, and Jonathan Feather. Sister of Grace D’Adamo of North Haven and the late James P. Laudicina. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You†to Kasha and Pindon of the CT Hospice Homecare for all the excellent care and comfort they gave to Mickey over these past few months in her home.
Her Funeral Procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Wednesday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church at 10:00. The visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
