Jennie Scricco Tondalo, 95, of 555 Pool Road, North Haven formerly of South Avenue, North Haven passed away Friday, June 17, 2011 at the Masonicare, Wallingford. She was the wife of the late Pasquale M. Tondalo Sr. Born in Abruzzi, Italy on February 13, 1916; a daughter of the late Felix and Josephine Scricco. Loving mother ofJosephine Criscuolo, Patricia (Liberato) Riccio, Phyllis “Penny†(Thomas) Gallagher, and Michaelina “Mickey†Avitable all of North Haven, Samual (Joanne) Tondalo of Wallingford, and Pasquale M. (Debbie) Tondalo, Jr. of West Haven. Also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 20 Great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a grandson Lee Anthony Riccio and a Granddaughter Laurie Ann Avitable. Jennie’s entire life was her unconditional love and devotion to her family; she loved new babies, cooking (especially her meatballs) and her loving home was opened for all; she will truly be missed.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Monday morning at 9:30. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Sunday from 3 to 7 pm.
