Lillian Culbert Jetmar, 86, of St. Andrews Circle, Wallingford, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Masonic Healthcare Center. She was the wife of Edward a. Jetmar. Born in New Haven on July 17, 1924; daughter of the late Albert and Anna Nolan Culbert. She had worked as a salesperson in various department stores for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Wallingford Senior Center and an active member of the dancing group “Twilight Tappersâ€. Mother of Lawrence E. Jetmar of Fullerton, California. Sister of the late Ann Russell, Olive Dambois and Dorothy Sotere.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Saturday morning at 9:30. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Francis Cabrini Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 pm. Lillian was such a beautiful person both inside and out. I’m going to miss her greatly. I am so sorry for her family’s loss.
