John W. Sause, age 84, of Conway, South Carolina, formerly of North Haven, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, SC. Beloved husband of 54 years to Eileen B. Sause. Mr. Sause was born in East Haven; son of the late John Francis and Millicent Hein Sause. He served his country in the US Air Force, 39th Tactical Airlift Squadron during the Korean War and was an avid golfer and member of the Lyman Meadows Golf Club. Father of David J. Sause of North Haven and Mary Sause (Steve) Slavlk of Mira Loma, CA. Brother of Audrey Sause Brown of Phoenix, AZ.
The visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Entombment services will be Thursday morning at 11:00 in All Saints Cemetery.

Eileen, David & Mary, W are so sorry of your loss. I'm sure you all have great memories that will help console you at this time. John was a great man. Always redy to lend a helping hand. He is now at peace.

Doesn't seem possible it is over 50 years that I would visit you with Melinda & Bryan.
Also remember David's birthday is the same as mine (March 5). I am living in Guilford.
