It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of our dear Uncle George. All members of the Gallicchio family will cherish the many memories of both Uncle George and Aunt Lena. I will especially miss but always cherish the many stories that Uncle George would share with me. He had an uncanny ability to explain things to children in a way that was believable to a child, no matter how complex the topic. My most memorable childhood memory was his explanation on how Santa Claus was able to visit every single child in the world on Christmas
Eve. Over the years I also enjoyed the times when we would come in contact with one another when we were both at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He lived a long life and was blessed with a loving and devoted wife, Aunt Lena and together they raised three fantastic children, Mary, Gloria and Augie. Now he is reunited again with his wife in the presence of our Lord in heaven. May he rest in peace.
On behalf of all the Gallicchio’s now living in Kentucky and South Carolina our sincere condolences to the Cavallaro family.
Vincent S. Gallicchio, Sr.
