Loretta E. Murphy Dotson, 79, of Hurlburt Street, New Haven passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late William C. Dotson, Sr. Born in Graceland, Kentucky on January 1, 1932; daughter of the late Jay and Arizona Kitchen Murphy. Mother of Deborah (David) Conner of Woodbridge, Gail (Rick) Roper of West Salem, OH, Eugene Delancey of New Haven, Lori Delancey and Raven (Cathy) Dotson all of East Haven, Marvin Dotson, Jamie Morales both of New Haven and the late William C. Dotson, Jr. Also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Loretta was a mom to many and will truly be missed.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted in Oak Grove Cemetery, West Haven on Friday morning at 11:00. The visiting hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8 pm at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.
