Ethel Hall Marks, 97, of the Village at Mariners Point, East Haven formerly of Cloudland Road, North Haven passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the Masonicare, Wallingford.  She was the wife of the late Nathan H. Marks.  Ethel was born in Chateaugay, New York on September 11, 1917; daughter of the late Clifford T. and Elizabeth Munroe Hall; received her nursing certification from Hartford Hospital; served her country faithfully in the US Navy as a LT in the nurse corps during WW II and the Korean war and had worked for many years as an RN in the North Haven area. Ethel was an avid reader, enjoyed painting, arts and crafts.  Mother of Walter J. (Kay) Marks, Nathan H. (Judy) Marks, Jr. and David T. (Barbara) Marks.  Also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.  Predeceased by two brothers Stanley Hall and Norman Hall.

Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Monday afternoon at 2:00 with the Rev. Kent Jackson officiating.  Family and friends may call from 1:00 pm until time of service.  Interment with full military honors will follow in the North Haven Center Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Masonicare Hospice, 22 Masonic Avenue, Wallingford, CT 06492.
