Theodore R. Spalding, 38, of North Haven passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Born in New Haven on June 28, 1973; son of Theodore A. Spalding of North Haven and the late Sheila Peterson Spalding. Step-son of Debbie Spalding of North Haven. Ted was a carpenter, especially a talented trim carpenter; enjoyed golfing and working on salt water fish tanks; was and avid UCONN Huskies and New England Patriots fan. Ted was a loving, caring, generous person, always there to help another. He will truly be missed. Brother of David Gontarz of Durham, Kimberly Gontarz of East Haven, Kathleen (Arlon) Sparks, Patricia (Dan) Morrell of Branford, Robert and Krista Spalding both of North Haven. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to the office of All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Ave., North Haven on Friday afternoon at 12:45. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 pm. The visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.
