Anna M. Hellstrom Buehler, 88, formerly of North Haven passed away on May 22nd, 2014 in Florida. She was the wife of the late Frank Buehler. Born in New Haven on February 27, 1926, daughter of the late Evan and Martha Schimelfanick Hellstrom; was a member of the Literacy Volunteers of CT and was also very active in many clubs and organizations in Century Village, Pembroke Pines, FL. Mother of Karen Gordon of Miami, Nancy (Melvin Hathorn) Gordon-Green of Cromwell, Linda (Randy) Gordon-Gilmore of Flower Mound, TX and Kevin (Gina) Buehler of Wallingford. Also survived by eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and her dear companion William Slager.
Funeral Services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 with the Rev. Scott Morrow officiating. Family and friends may call from 1:00 to 3:00 pm Saturday. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Literacy Volunteers of Greater New Haven, 4 Science Park, New Haven, CT 06511.
