Susan E. Mozealous Stone of Northford passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016 at her home. She was the wife of 32 years to Gary A. Stone. Susan was born in New Haven; daughter of the late Frank G. and Bernice E. Moore Mozealous and had worked as a Purchasing Manager for Carlton Industries for many years until her retirement. Susan enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play sports and her frequent trips to the casino. Mother of Bridgett Smith and Gary (Christine) Stone, Jr. Grandmother of Leia and Violet Foyer. Sister of Bert (Nancy) Mozealous.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Friday morning at 11:00 with the Rev. Edward Cornell officiating. Family and friends may call Thursday from 5:00 to 7:30 PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Connecticut Food Bank, 50 Eagle Street, Waterbury, CT 06708.
To Gary and Family – May God give you the strength to go through these hard times. So sorry for your loss.

Our hearts are breaking for the Stone/Mozealous families. I worked with Susan for 10 years and she was always a pleasure to work for. Heaven just got a special angel named Susan Stone! Sue was such a nice person, she was very close with her family, very supportive and will be sorely missed.
