Julia M. “Red” Diamonte Rosadini, 95, of East Haven passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 14, 2016 at Whitney Manor, Hamden. She was the beloved wife of the late Quido E. Rosadini. Red was born in New Haven on March 17, 1921; daughter of the late Vincenzo and Rosina Sabino Diamonte; was a member of the St. Roses Rosary Society of New Haven and enjoyed spending time with her four boys whom she loved unconditionally. Mother of Joseph S. Rosadini, Sr. (Donna), John G. Rosadini (Deborah), David A. Rosadini (Kathleen) and Dennis W. Rosadini (Carmel). Grandmother of Christina Rosadini (Vanessa), John S. Rosadini (Megan), Joseph S. Rosadini, Jr., Danielle J. Rosadini, Alessandra A. Rosadini and Dina Paolella. Great Grandmother of Raphael Perez, Olivia and Isabelle Rosadini, . Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends. Predeceased by her siblings Annette Iovieno, Martha, Mary, Salvatore, Charles and Candido Diamonte.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Friday morning at 9:15. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm.
