I only met my aunty Wanda, who had the same name as my mom, maidenname Delau, during a short visit in 1983. Aunty Wanda was so happy to get to know 2 children of her double cousin Wanda. My mother was also born in Piesmacki. I remember aunty Wanda and uncle Alexander as very friendly, helpful, and kind people. They both will be missed. See you both!

I would like to make a correction to the above: I am Edith, granddaughter of Julius Delau and Emilie Bartz not Bar. My aunt Wanda, was the daughter of Ferdinand Delau, brother of Julius Delau and Pauline Bartz, sister of my grandmother Emilie Bartz. After the early deaths of Emilie and Ferdinand my widowed grandfather Julius married his widowed sister-in-law Pauline, that made my mother Wanda stepsister and doble-cousin to my aunt Wanda.
