Louis J. DeFelice, 80, of 23 Lancelot Drive, North Haven passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at the CT Hospice, Branford surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Lottie (Paier) DeFelice. Born in New Haven on August17, 1931; son of the late Crescenzo “James†DeFelice and Nancy (Acomfora) DeFelice Giovannitti. Mr. DeFelice graduated Hillhouse High School, New Haven and was a construction superintendent for many years in Connecticut. Father of Anthony DeFelice, Diane (DeFelice) Scalise. Grandfather of Katelyn DeFelice. Brother of Joseph Giovannitti and the late Antoinette Giovannitti John F. and Frank DeFelice.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, MONDAY morning at 9:30. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be SATURDAY from 3 to 6 pm. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions be made to the CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
