Daniel F. McCarthy IV, 51, of 465 Crown Street, Meriden passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 at his home. Born in New Haven on December 2, 1959; son of the late Daniel F. McCarthy III and Carolann Lavorgna McCarthy. Daniel had worked as a Security Guard for Securitas of Meriden. Father of Daniel F. McCarthy V of Cromwell. Nephew of Gail (Joseph) Belghesini of Branford. Cousin of Joseph and Michael Belghesini both of Branford and the late Cheri Belghesini.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, North Haven on Wednesday morning at 10:00. Interment will follow in Saints Cemetery, North Haven. The visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes, 2969 Whitney Ave., Ste. 1-R, Hamden, CT 06518 or the Animal Haven, 89 Mill Rd., North Haven, CT 06473.
Dan will be missed here at our office building in New Haven. He unlocked the gate for me every morning. A very nice man. May he rest in peace.
