Carolyn M. Perry, 82, of Wallingford passed away on her birthday, Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Wife of the late John B. Perry. Born in New Haven on October 4, 1929; daughter of the late Salvatore and Carmel Ferrailoa Granata. Carolyn had worked as a secretary for the Pellegrino Law Offices and later at Crystal Restorations. She was a member of the Wallingford V.F.W. Women’s Auxillary. Mother of Glenn S. Perry. Grandmother of Nathan D. Perry. Sister of Sally Jean Celentano, Marie DePoto, Robert and Richard Granata and the late Judy Barnes, Michael, David Granata and Archilles “Dee-Dee†Granata.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Thursday evening at 8:00. Family and friends may call from 5:00 pm until time of service this evening. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Glenn, So sorry to hear about your Mom. My mom, Charlotte and your mom met watching Nate and my son Ty play baseball. Your Mom was a great friend and helped my mom through so much when she was ill. So always spoke so highly of you and Nate was a light in her life. She will be missed.
