Pauline C. Adams Boyd, 90, of New Haven, passed away Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Advanced Nursing & Rehab, New Haven. She was the wife of the late Paul Boyd. Born in York, S.C. on December 23, 1920; daughter of the late Isaiah and Sally Crosby Adams. Sister of Eddie Hugh Adams, Sr. of York, S.C. and the late Mary A. Carter, James, Sam, Isaiah, John and F.E. Adams. Also survived by a host of family members.
Funeral services will be conducted in Thomas Chapel, 30 White St., New Haven on Friday morning at 11:00. Family and friends may call at the church from 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Whitneyville Cemetery, Hamden. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with Mr. Boyd’s arrangements.
I thank God to have known you. From 1966 when I first met you through your newphew Mayfield, through the years you’ve been a blessing and inspiration a friend when I was homeless. So glad I got to see you before you left……
