Michelina Montuori Venditti, 89, of East Haven passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital with her family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of the late Giovanni Antonio Venditti.  Michelina was born in Piedimonte d’alife, Italy on July 23, 1925; daughter of the late Pasquale and Clementina Cocari Montuori; had worked for the former Tag-A-Long, East Haven and later for the former Strause-Adlers, New Haven until her retirement.  Michelina enjoyed her daily trips to Stop & Shop to play lottery; enjoyed playing bingo, taking frequent trips to the casino, cooking and baking; helpful to all, she enjoyed parties with her family and friends whom she loved unconditionally. Loving mother of Pasqualina (Luigi) Vendittelli, Domenico (Elizabeth) Venditti, Vincenzo (Nicolina) Venditti, Lina (Pasquale) Martoni and Anna (Michael) Annunziata.  Sister of Giuseppe, Domenico, Velardino and Celeste Montuori and the late Raffaele, Fiortino and Terese Montuori.  Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Predeceased by her granddaughter Antoinette Venditti-Bruce.

Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday morning at 11:00. Family and friends may call from 8:30 to 10:30 am Monday. A Mass of Christian burial will follow in St. Vincent de Paul’s Church at 11:30 am.  Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
