Joseph P. Grandolfo, Jr., 55, of Meriden, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the MidState Medical Center, Meriden. Husband of Lori Higgins Grandolfo. Born in Yonkers, NY on December 19, 1955; son of the late Joseph P. Grandolfo, Sr. and Elvira Hurtado Grandolfo. Joe served his country faithfully in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Vietnam War; was an insulation installer for many years; was an avid Miami Dolphins and NASCAR fan. Brother of Barbara Grandolfo and her husband Gordon Dexter, Diane Grandolfo and the late Carol Daly. Step father of Ryan and Katelyn Higgins.
Family and friends may call at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Sunday from 4 to 7 pm. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
