Rachel F. Prete DiLeva, 79, of Papa Lane, North Haven passed away Wednsday, November 2, 2011 at the CT Hospice, Branford. Wife of Frank DiLeva. Born in New Haven on July 17, 1932; daughter of the late Salvatore and Julia Scoopo Prete. Mother of Michelle (Tony) Merluccio of Chesterfield, Va., Claudia (David) Page of Wallingford and Kimberly DiLeva of New Haven. Sister of Annette “Nettie†(Angelo) Angiollo of North Haven. Grandmother of Michael Manna, Lisa & Lauren Page, Brandon & Matthew DiLeva.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Saturday morning at 9:30. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 am. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
