On Friday, November 25, Kristopher Franco, age 37 of North Haven died peacefully at Yale-New Haven Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Orange County, California on August 22, 1974, he was the beloved son of Daniel Franco of North Haven and Nancy (Damian) Maine of New Britain. In addition to his loving parents he leaves behind his grandparents Rocco and Olga Franco and the late James and Marie Cosgrove all of North Haven. His aunts and uncles, Tom and Robin Franco and Ronald and Veronica Franco of North Haven. James Cosgrove of Santa Ana, CA, Barry Cosgrove of West Haven, Maria Cosgrove of New Haven, Lori Cosgrove of Hamden and Joan and John Kuzma of Madison. He is also survived by his cousins Michael and Mellisa Franco and their child Jonathon, Mark and Elizabeth Franco and their children Olivia, Matteo and Luke, Rick Ardito, Jeff Kuzma, and the late James Kuzma. Kris will always be remembered for his great love of family, friends, travel, his music and especially his courageous will and determination for life.
His Funeral Procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, on Wednesday morning at 9:30. A mass of Christian burial will be held in St. Barnabas Church, North Haven at 10:00. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Kris’s memory may be made to the Scott MacNeil Scholarship Fund, c/o North Haven High School, 221 Elm Street, North Haven, CT 06473-3251.
