Blessings to you, Mary Ellen and Family. Jim's friendship was true and loyal to all of us in the "Class of "58" and we enjoyed our Cherokee reunion visits! He will be missed, but, what great memories he leaves for us to share!
We, my younger brothers Mike & Pat and myself, idolized Jimmy. He was the only male cousin we had and we thought he was just the best! We spent summers in Iowa with Peggy, Jimmy, Kayla, and Lynn. My best childhood memories with them. We did not see each other much as the years went by but it didn't matter……he was in our hearts.
My sincere condolences to his wife Mary Ellen and his children. Sherry
So sorry for your loss. Jim was a great classmate at Washington High School. I'll remember him most as an athlete on our track team where he would run whatever race Coach Pickford thought would benefit the team the most. Jim was very unselfish in this act and I believe this is the way he led his entire life–most willing to do what was best for those he loved. A memorial gift will follow in the near future.
From a childhood friend and classmate, our prayers to the family. God's Blessings to you all.
We were very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We had the good fortune to work with him at Health Net. He was a true professional. He readily shared his knowledge and industry expertise. We will always be grateful for that. Our sincere condolences to his family.

Jim's strong pleasant voice will be missed as will his warm heart. Jim was a man of true integrity. He was a rare commodity to mankind as a leader of men in his field of insurance he helped build men up at all times. We have known Jim for 8 short years but he will hold a place in our heart forever. Surely the Lord has a special need for this wonderful man in heaven, you will be sorely missed on Earth Jim. Your legacy continues in your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. God Bless all of you, especially Mary.
So very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Jim was my very best friend through high school and years beyond. After high school, I moved to Bridgeport CT to attend college. Returned home to Cherokee for a visit, and Jim decided to go with me back to CT. Dave lickiss joined us on the return. He had joined the army and we dropped him off at his reporting station near N.Y. City. The three of us had a great time driving across country. Jim and I taking turns driving and Dave reading the maps to get us there. We toured the sites in NYC. Empire State building, Coney Island (road the roller coaster), Greenwich Village. Jim stayed with my mother and I in Bridgeport until I married and I was drafted into the army. We lost track of each other until our tenth class reunion, and then again on our 50'th and 55th reunions. Jim was a great guy and will be greatly missed.
I miss you grandpa, we all love you!
