Prayers and condolences to the Acabbo family. If this is the Mrs. Acabbo who lived on Rockdale Rd. in the 60's, then her son Anthony was one of my best friends. I visited her home, a small farm, often.
We are so sorry for your loss. She was a lovely woman and always made us welcome whenever we saw her while visiting family in Connecticut. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Acabbo family. Love to you all, Ed and Cheryl Vets
Marianna Acabbo was one of those rare people who everyone immediately fell in love with and never spoke a bad word about. She was just a delightful human being with so much love to spread around. We were so honored to attend her 90th and 100th birthday parties. Even at 100 years old she stood by the door to greet everyone as they came into the room. I will always remember her sweet smile and loving personality. She has truly done her share of making this world a better place. Thank you Ms. Acabbo. You have been quite a model for your sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as all the many people whose lives you have touched. Rest in peace.
