Marie Grace Martino (Ciarleglio) Levett, 96, of Wallingford passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2014 at the Village Green, Wallingford. She was the wife of the late Edward Ciarleglio and Albert Levett. Marie was born in Naugatuck on December 28, 1917; daughter of the late Luigi and Lucia Sabia Martino. Mother of Edward (Sherry) Ciarleglio, Raymond (Marilyn) Ciarleglio, Marilyn (John) D’Andrea, Diane (Kenneth) Andrade and the late Louis Ciarleglio. Also survived by twenty grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, twelve great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by four brothers and a sister.
Family and friends are invited to meet directly at St. Anthony’s Church, Washington Avenue, New Haven on Friday morning Nov. 28th at 9:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal services immediately following in Beaverdale Memorial Park. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with the arrangements.
I am so very sorry for your loss.I wish I could have been there for you.I always enjoyed talking to Mom when she called you at work.Take comfort in knowing she is at peace and no longer in pain.
Diane: We are so sorry to hear of Marie's passing. I hope you and your family are doing well. We just heard of her passing. I remember Marie well from her visits at the office. That was long time passing. She was definitely her own person. I am sure she will be sorely missed. you can rest assured that she is in a better place
